Vehicle Detail

I am relisting due to non paying bidder. No Reserve 1968 Chevy Stepside Shortbed Project When I bought this truck the title showed 44293 actual mileage. I do not know how to verify if this is the actual mileage. It now shows 44958. Mileage may change a little as I drive it around town but I would trailer it home. It has a 250 straight 6 with a 3 speed manual on the column. The truck has many new parts. Here's some of the parts that have been replaced, replaced points distributor with HEI distributor. New plugs and wires. New battery and fuel pump. The truck starts , runs and drives but could run better .I did not worry much about the engine since my plans were to put a small block in it. All the lights work as well as all the guages, wipers and heater. The interior has many new parts.New visors, carpet and seat covers. There is only one seatbelt on the drivers side. There are no backup lights or radio installed. The suspension has been replaced with airbags. The rear is a Porterbuilt stage 2 basic kit , frame is c- notched and the front is a Porterbuilt stage 1 kit. with ccp drop spindles and disc brakes . The truck has six lug 15 inch wheels. The tires are new. There is a air tank and compressor hooked up to raise and lower the truck. Manual paddle valves to control the bags on each corner. It sits low when the bags are deflated The body looks good in the pictures but still needs some repair. The paint is a home garage job and has flaws. Its a least a couple years old. The black on the truck is rattle can and is flaking on some of the trim. The side markers have been removed as well as all badging. The bedsides have been replaced and the wood in the bed has also been replaced. There is no tailgate installed but the chains and trunions are there. Theres a net on the bed . The floors have been partially replaced, rockers, and cab corners have been replaced. The repairs are decent but not professional. I've tried to decribe this truck the best I could, look at the pictures, ask questions or come and look. It is not a show truck but a project.I still get lots of thumbs up when I drive it. . I have a clear title in hand. PayPal for the deposit which has to be made within 48 hours of auction end or item will be relisted. I will accept cash , cashiers check( once cleared) for balance but title and truck will not leave until all funds clear my bank. Sold as is, no returns.. On Aug-31-14 at 07:31:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked about how long do they have to pickup the truck if they win the auction. The truck can sit here until you can arrange pickup or shipping as long as the truck is paid for. Now this doesn't mean six months but a resaonable amount of time. And yes I will take a bank wire money transfer but of course it will have to clear my bank befre the truck and title are released.
