Description ’09 Cobalt - 21,837 Actual Miles (plus a few if I drive it to the car wash) I’ve decided to sell my clean Chevy Cobalt I’ve had since August of 2011. I am not a car dealer. It has a clear title in my name. I bought it in 2011 from the family of an associate of my wife whose father in law bought it new and passed away after having driven it only 6,000 miles. It has clean interior, perfect glass, and no leaks. I keep the engine compartment clean and it has never even had a flat tire. The original tires are not damaged and have very good tread. It still smells like a new car. This car is ready to drive across the country. It has never been in an accident. It has never been in a repair shop. It has automatic transmission, power steering and air conditioning, AM FM CD player with XM radio and On Star. It has the spare tire option and the "Protection Package". There is a picture of the window sticker in Photobucket. Link below. It runs perfectly smooth and quiet. It always starts with just a touch of the key and there is never any hesitation. It has never had any damage or repairs other than the recalled ignition switch which was replaced at the dealer. There are no dents, not even shopping cart dents and no obvious scratches into the paint to my knowledge. There have never been any repairs needed. There has never been any water damage. The car has always been in this area of northeast Louisiana, over 300 miles away from the coast. The Cobalt has always had fresh Mobile One synthetic oil and (Wix) NAPA Gold oil filters except this last filter which is a Delco about ten miles ago. I have the original papers and owner’s manual with the car. I invite you to come and check it out for yourself. Test drive it and I’m sure you will be impressed. It has been a perfectly dependable car. I used it more often when I kept my little granddaughter while my daughter was in college but I don't drive it enough now. I live only about fifteen miles from the Monroe Regional Airport MLU which is serviced by Delta Airlines, United, and American. I can pick you up at the airport and we can go to my credit union and take care of the paperwork. The Cobalt will be ready to drive from there. I can recommend the best restaurants in Monroe and of course you know to always come to Louisiana hungry. :) Or, I can deliver it to you; I can deliver the car with my own car trailer for $.50 per mile one way using Google maps' quickest route. Example, 1,000 miles one way equals $500.00. This is only the cost of my gasoline for a 2,000 mile round trip with my truck and trailer. Any amount of money mutually agreed upon for delivery should be paid in full before I load up for delivery and this money is non refundable after the trip has begun. I can also drive the car to you and take a commercial flight home if you pay for my ticket. The transfer of the title and payment of the balance would take place at your bank. The car would remain covered by my insurance until that time. Or you can use a commercial carrier service; I have paid commercial carriers to deliver three vehicles for me in the past. I have been pleased each time. I can help you locate a transportation service. I think eBay will also help locate a service for you. If you use a commercial carrier, I will help with arrangements and do what I can to see that the vehicle is loaded with care. I will also ship the title as priority mail so as to have a tracking number and will not put it in the car where it might get lost or stolen. Terms of Sale The high bidder at the end of the auction will make an nonrefundable $500.00 deposit through PayPal immediately at the end of the auction. After the deposit is made the buyer has basically two options to pay the balance, electronic transfer of funds from bank to bank or cash handed in person within the seller's or buyer's bank and witnessed by bank employees. Buyer has only a week to have his bank to transfer the balance of the final value (Sale Price) into the seller's bank.
