Vehicle Detail
1966 Chrysler 300 Convertible with matching numbers 383 and auto on the column. Car was white when new and was redone in red by past owner. Original Florida car that was bought new in Orlando in 1966. Needs paint and top and other repairs but runs and drives and uses no oil and does not smoke. Rust on floorboards behind drivers and passenger seat and on left lower rear quarter on the bottom and a couple small other spots. Needs both rear window regulators fixed.Rare car with only 2500 made and is a great car you can use as you restore it. Has the certi card under the hood and build sheet in the back seat with the original owners book with service records recorded. Lights will dim at night when brakes are pressed which could be voltage regulator or bad ground. Under car is good with just surface rust as I planned to take entire car apart and restore so I never cleaned or painted under the car. Brake booster and master cylinder needs to be replaced but brakes work as long as fluid is filled. 1 crack in the windshield which I used a repair kit on and was there when I bought it. Transmission works fine but is leaking fluid out of the front seal and uses fluid because of it. Interior needs carpet and back seat is brittle and has some cracks. One piece of trim is missing on the lower front fender behind the bumper and the trunk chrome trim which goes on the bottom of the trunk under the keyhole has a couple broken tabs and the outer tabs and one other are there but need to use a tap to re thread. Needs rear tires and spare is bad also. This car is very solid and I tried to put everything it needs that I know. I drive this car a few days a week and it runs good. If you have any questions just let me know and I will answer them. This car is worth every penny of the buy it now price and will make you money when your done restoring it.
