Nice 1974 BMW R90S with 82893 miles on it. This is a two owner bike with a variety of period modifications such as electronic ignition and dual plugs. Mechanically the bike is excellent it has had the top end redone by Max BMW with fresh pistons and all that. The heads where redone by a retired gentlemen from San Jose BMW that did an amazing job. The bottom end is fresh from a low mileage bike in AZ and was installed over the winter after the flywheel bolts sheared from the crank. (The bike will come with original engine cases so you have matching numbers). Breaks are excellent and splines are good. The tires are new with less than 200 miles on them and it has a fresh Odyssey battery and a Thunderchield diode board. Optically the bike has a wonderful patina and shows the marks of a well ridden bike with battle scars and all. It is an excellent rider ready for a full restoration or to be used as a rider. Some known issues are that the RPM gauge is not working and missing it's class cover, the clock does not work and the center stand retention spring is missing. The side covers are also missing. The reason for selling it is that I am getting out of riding.
