For sale is my 1969 Mustang Fastback. This is a very original winter blue car, with matching numbers 351 cubic inch strong running V8 engine and original 4speed car. I purchased this car some time ago to restore and just have never got around to it and it has been sitting in storage, and now my daughter is headed to med school...have to sell. This car was an original California build car based on VIN. I have attached in pictures the Marti report to verify everything. This Mustang runs strong, but will need some work to make nice. Paint: looks good as you can see in photos but needs repairs in trunk area and rocker where there is rust. Minor on the rocker, more in the trunk. Most of the 69-70's has the problem where moisture would come in on the passenger side of the trunk and settle beneath the mat. This was no exception. Engine runs better than any other early car I have driven, transmission will need linkage adjustment though. Very hard to find 1st. I didn't drive it much, but the prior owner said I could drive it anywhere. I believe him based on the way the engine performed, and never ran hot. Beside the body and transmission repairs, I would put on new tires. The car will come with ORIGINAL magnum wheels. I have just not bought tires for the rims. The car will also come with the YOM California black plates from 1969. I apologize on lack of photos but will take some more and update the auction as we go. Happy Bidding! The great news is after several months of being in storage the car started right up. I also took some video on my cell phone, a basic walk around of the car and to hear the engine run. The photos really detail the great gaps and straightness of the car, and also the bad areas like the rocker area and the trunk which will need patch panels put in place. First the trunk area does need patch panels. Second, mileage is not verifiable and should not be considered accurate as there is no documentation to that mileage. Third, magnum wheels did not come with the car but are original Ford magnums. Last, transmission shifts and the car is driveable, but will need linkeage adjustment for 1st gear, and most likely tires for a longer trip. This mustang is really nice, just needs a few minor body repairs, tires and trans repairs to be perfect.
