THIS CAR IS AWESOME! I BOUGHT IT 5 YEARS AGO TO TOUCH UP AND RELIVE SOME MEMORIES FROM WHEN I OWNED A BRAND NEW ONE BACK IN THE DAY. I ONLY PUT UNDER 5000 MILES ON IT SINCE I BOUGHT IT. I LIVE 1 HOUR NORTH EAST OF PITTSBURGH. THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN IN THE SNOW. THIS SPRING I TOOK IT TO VISIT A FRIEND IN WASHINGTON DC. I WOULD DRIVE IT ANYWHERE! I DID NOT GET RUN OVER ON THE BELT WAY! FIRST THE NEGATIVES: THE CLEAR COAT IS BEGINNING TO FLAKE, AND THERE ARE SCRATCHES ON THE CAR. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT BEING PAINTED EVENTUALLY. TIRES NEED REPLACED. THE AC NEEDS CONVERTED. I HAVE HAD IT ONE A FRIENDS CAR LOT AND THERE IS MOISTURE IN THE HEADLIGHTS. THE POWER ANTENNA WONT WORK IT IS IN THE UP POSITION. THE ANTI LOCK BRAKE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON SINCE I BOUGHT IT. DASH HAS A CRACK IN IT FROM SUN AND AGE. THERE IS A SPOT ON THE TOP FROM WHEN I HAD IT STORED A BIRD DECIDED TO POOP ON IT AND IT WENT UNSEEN. IT NEEDS PAINTED. THE STEREO IS AFTERMARKET. THE POSITIVES: THE CAR HANDLES AND PERFORMS GREAT!! THE TURBO BOOST GOES TO 10 LIKE AN AUTOMATIC SHOULD. POWER WINDOWS AND LOCKS WORK. FOG LIGHTS WORK. THE BODY IS STRAIGHT. BRAKES HAVE 5K ON THEM. THE INTERIOR IS LIKE NEW. I FOUND AN OWNERS MANUAL AND IT IS IN THE CAR. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I WOULD DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE. I BOUGHT IT IN MICHIGAN AND DROVE IT HOME. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO PART WITH THIS, BUT IF IT CAN GO TO A GOOD HOME AND RECEIVE THE TLC THAT IT DESERVES, THIS CAR WILL ONLY GET BETTER! BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO SHIP OR PICK UP. CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND IF THE RIGHT BUYER COMES ALONG, THIS AUCTION WILL END BEFORE IT APPOINTED ENDING TIME. Update: To answer some of the many questions that I have received. No I am not looking to trade. there is one little spot of surface rust on the left rear fender a couple inches below the trim on the rocker panel. It is surface only, the size of a quarter. I have added 4 photos of the under carriage. Yes, it will drive over 50 miles. I would drive it to California. ( thats 2500 miles from here) The passenger seat is also power and works great, also power mirrors. The rims are the originals and are 16 inch. The spare is a regular doughnut, not the spun aluminum rim like the 1986 The locking lug nut has been removed from each wheel. The lighted mirrors work in the sun visors. No I do not have a 5 speed to stick in it. If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you!! Update 8/29 The car was rust proofed when new. I added 2 more pics. The one is of the bottom of the car from the trunk to the bumper. The other is of the spare tire area inside the inner fender. There is no rust in either spot. I am letting the auction run to its finish. There are currently a lot of watchers, time to see how many bidders! Not many like it left. A new paint job and new tires and it will almost be a new car!!
