To All: This is a 1995 BMW 540 Sport. There where approximately 200 of these cars shipped to the US with 132 of them being a 6-speed. I am the 2nd registered owner of the vehicle. It was purchased new in 1995 for $72K by a local business man. He handed it down to his son, who didn't know what he had or respected such a gem. Loser! I found the car just before it hit the salvage yard for parting out. I've spent approximately $12K getting the car into the condition that it is now. I would drive this car any where in the US. She'll even manage the Los Angeles 2-1/2 (one-way) commutes (which I rarely take her on - clutch is pretty stiff). This is a true no reserve auction, highest bidder walks away (after payment is made) with one helluva car. She may not be the prettiest thing on the block, but she'll give you a ride you won't soon forget. Most can appreciate that.
