Vehicle Detail

Hi, you are viewing an absolutely Beautiful 1962 Studebaker GT Hawk with Rare Factory Original 4 Speed Transmission. This car is in amazingly very original condition with one repaint years ago that is still just gorgeous ! There is NO Rust (really !) and NO little Bubbles (really !) that all of these old cars seem to have and this car is very straight ! Its has its original sheet metal and the underbody is very nice and original and solid as well. Also, all of the trim and chrome is really just excellent as is the whole interior . This Studebaker is just a dream to drive with the 4 Speed and Power steering and Power brakes and it sounds great with dual exhaust (also new). The engine never smokes (hot or cold) and runs fantastic. These optional larger 289 V8's have 4 barrel carbs (has brand new one on car, original comes with car in a box) and are also solid-lifter engines. These GT Hawks are not just about looks but are performance cars as well. When you drive it, its hard to believe it is a 1962. It is so solid and rattle free. This car rides better than most newer cars in my opinion. The gauges all work great (fuel gauge works but isn't accurate, probably needs new sending unit) and it is amazing how all of the gauge needles are so rock solid while it is running and don't bounce around like most older cars. I don't think most people realize how high the quality is in these Studebakers. A great sounding under dash 4-Speaker Stereo has been added for even more enjoyment while cruising. It also runs cool all day at about 170 degrees even in this south Florida summer heat (thanks to a brand new water pump too). This is a very High-Quality car that just steals the show everywhere it goes. When I took it out last week to run it, one lady at a gas station made a comment that I have heard very regularly about this car,she said: My God, that is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen, what is that worth...about a hundred thousand.... that car just oozes CLASS! You get used to saying Thanks all time when you take this car out ! These GT Hawks really are very unique and very classy looking. Most car people I talk to think that these are one of the most attractive cars of the era. I personally feel that these Gran Turismo's should be worth much much more and I think that is going to change. I looked at several for years before I found one this nice and whoever gets this car is going to be thrilled. I appreciate you reading this and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Serious Offers only !! Thank You !! P.S. Please check my feedback on a couple of higher priced old cars that I have sold out of my collection here on E-bay the last few years and that will ease any worries as well ! I am selling a few cars for a real-estate transaction. Thanks !!
