Vehicle Detail

I purchased this vehicle seven or eight years ago through EBAY and drove it for a while. It developed a noticeable oil leak that would leave a nasty spot everywhere I parked. The leak originated from the head area, it does have little O rings. I removed the head from the engine and had the head rebuilt and upgraded with some port work and slightly bigger valves with a fancy grind. The head work should allow this motor to breath quite well. (There are pictures of the head in this listing) I have NOT put the motor back together, it has been sitting in this state for three or four years. (This is not a running car) The rest of the drive train seems fine from what I can remember. At some point in the past the car was repainted so it is not that great. It looks as if the front left fender has been replaced, it is only noticeable by looking at it from under the hood. There is little to no rust on this car from what I have observed. It has been stored indoors up until a month ago where it has been parked under a covered porch in order to list it. The bumper nose piece is partially missing. The convertible top is in good shape other than that there is a cut in the back window panel (see picture). It is a little bit of a project car to get it back on the road, but it is a nice little car and well worth the effort. Purchaser is responsible for picking up the vehicle, I am not providing any shipping arrangements. A deposit is required at purchase with the remaining payment made in cash at the time of pick up. *****There has been some concern as to whether or not we have all the parts to re-install the Head on the motor, the simplest answer is yes. The more lengthy answer is that this is a PROJECT that was started a few years ago, so with that in mind, realistically speaking there is a slight chance that a part or two may have been displaced. At the time that we started taking it apart the parts and bolts were all put into baggies and boxes. I have taken pictures of those things and I believe it all to be there. That being said, I don't want someone to get to the end of this project and discover that they need some bolts or something and get all bent out of shape about it. If you are overly concerned about this happening then perhaps this is not the project for you. We started this auction low on purpose because it is a 27 year old project car. You are more than welcome to inspect the car before the auction ends.
