This is a very RARE and authentic collectors piece that is period CORRECT and hard to find here in the states. e-Bay doesn't recognize the VIN number so please disregard what is listed and the history report ebay is auto attaching for some reason. The correct VIN is SALLBABH1BA166017 Right hand drive, excellent condition, and ready to drive. Service records from previous owners including many MOT inspection forms from the UK plus all other documentation during the years here in the US. This truck was restored in Ireland by a previous owner who was a fighter pilot in 2006 and the records seem to bear this out. All windows and sliding glass are fully functional with the proper door trim and bits. The engine is a remanufactured Turner engine with low mileage that benefits from some added power along with a Fairey Overdrive unit installed for better gas mileage and higher speeds for modern driving. Truck has parabolic springs all around, overdrive, locking front hubs (free wheeling hubs), the rare and original lockable cubby between front seats, stock radio as well as modern receiver with CD mp3 jack and usb jack mounted/hidden in the cubby. This truck is in the proper color and has the factory county trim decals and tweed cloth interior with the much desired Tropical Roof Top. As with any of these older rovers they are mostly constructed of aluminum and therefor have a much lower rust rate over other classics. Other benefits of the older Series vehicles include the removal of the hard top if a soft canvas top is ever desired plus the removal of the door tops and ability to fold down the front windshield for an even more open air driving experience. It has been cared for by mature and knowledgable Classic Land Rover enthusiasts.
