1951 Willys M38 Military Jeep The last of the true flat fender Jeeps. The M38 was used in the Korean war and was built from 1950-1952 with only 45,000 produced. It's predecessor the WWII Willy's MB/GPW had a massive production run which topped off in the area of 650,000 units. The more rare and desirable M38 was a great improvement over it's predecessor. Major upgrades included the water fording ventilation system and a waterproof 24 volt electrical system. This fully restored M38 carries it original body. Fully restored both cosmetically and mechanically to new, this little Willys is a joy to drive. It carries a .30 Caliber Browning Machine Gun and mount (not operational) as well as the original Military Radio . This early M38 is the 2,085th of 45,000 built. Special attention was paid to originality during it's body off frame restoration. The finest M38 around, this vehicle is an excellent toy and investment that will garner more attention than a Ferrari.
