I have a Montero SR for sale. For those of you that do not know the SR comes with a 3.5 DOHC engine that can be found in the Mitsubishi 300GT and Dodge Stealth. The engine is loaded with torque and runs great. The transmission shifts like it is supposed to and the transfer case and 4WD all function properly. For all of you Off Road Enthusiasts the SR came standard with an air locker rear end that is in good working order. It also has a locking transfer case. I originally purchased this to take the engine out for another project but it was in such good shape mechanically I figured it should go to a good home. These SUV's are known for their outstanding longevity and off-road capabilities. Many prefer these over the much more expensive Land Rovers. This SUV is a steal at this price. The Good Drivetrain is strong A/C works awesome Sunroof works and it is HUGE Tires are at 90% The Bad Previous owner hit a pole in the front but no frame damage Rear brake rotors are warped from vehicle sitting and rust build up Glove box needs lock put in Some leather wearing out in the interior
