After viewing all the ratty other Mustangs out there and looking at this car, feel free to message me. Please take the time to allow the 120 detailed photos to load, it is worth the wait. I am listing this Saleen Mustang Cobra coupe as part of a private collection, never offered for sale before. I own a Mustang shop that has been in business for 20 years and am very particular with these cars. I have 100% positive feedback and am both a PS and TRS on ebay which less than 2% of sellers here are, so have no worries. I bought this car new in Oregon on 11-24-95 off the showroom floor and kept it registered there until 2001 as the tags were way less money than CA, but car was in CA and only driven in nice weather since new. I had brought the car to CA in my enclosed trailer, so it never saw any bad weather then, or ever. My doctor father bought a '98 Saleen Cobra from one of my customers who was the original owner with 5400 miles in 2000 for $50K to keep at his vacation home in Palm Springs, drove the car for a few years on nice days to play golf and to various shows, then was t-boned by a drunk driver at 13K miles in 2008. The Saleen was not fixable and I bought it back from his insurance company. It was 1 of 2 Saleen Cobras supercharged and 1 of only 14 Saleen Cobras built in 98. All parts were taken off his 13K MI Saleen that were usable and put on my 12K mile 95 Cobra seen here then I gave it to him as a surprise for Thanksgiving 2009 and his 65th birthday as it was his favorite car he ever owned, even over his $100K+ exotics.  Basically this is the '98 Saleen Cobra coupe transferred onto my clean title 12K MI '95 Cobra chassis. All authentic Saleen parts.You will be the 1st owner not in my family. All work professionally done and car is immaculate. Both cars have only been adult driven since new and have always been impeccably taken care of and garaged. Fully loaded and show quality from top to bottom. No dings or dents and never any rust. No road rash on front bumper, not even the lower edge is scraped!! Oil has been changed every 3K miles or year (which ever came first) with the Mobil 1 synthetic. All oil changes since have been Mobil 1 synthetic. Underside, rockers, and inside of wheels detailed at least once a month as is the exterior and interior. Carpets have never been shampooed and still look like new. Car is also waxed at least once a month and always garaged, except when at events, but covered when possible. This car is impeccable for the price. Anything that did not work properly has always been rebuilt or replaced. Ice cold A/C. Car does not overheat even in 120 degree weather. I let the car idle for 45 minutes in 120 degree heat this summer and it did not get 1/2 way on the temperature gauge. I then drove it to make sure there were no issues, or pinging...no problems. Car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. Never raced or abused.  Donor car was 1 of 2 originally built Saleen Supercharged Cobras with 13K MI.  You are better off getting one of these cars that have been driven and properly maintained than one with super low miles that has not been properly stored or has dried up seals. Nothing leaks or seaps on this car. Compression is with in 3% on every cylinder. Gets 25+ MPG on the freeway!! Front tires have less than 1000 miles and are smooth, factory Saleen size 18" Michelin Pilots and rears have around 5K miles and are also Michelin Pilots, original Saleen Speedline chrome wheels and caps (18X9 front, 18X10 rear). None are curbed or bent and chrome is excellent with original Saleen lettering, brakes front and rear are excellent all around, Rotors and calipers are painted high temp satin black. MAC 3" catback, sounds great with MAC longtube headers (HTS coated) and high flow cats. Never been smoked in, no stains, still smells new. Original Mach 460 premium sound system (460 watts) with 3 amplifiers, 8 speakers, CD and cassette that works great with no farting speakers. No worn off silk screening, or sweat marks on interior. No check engine light on. Everything works like it should. Front seats are black cloth Recaro style with Cobra logo and red stitching. Driver's side is 4 way power and works smoothly and passenger's side is manual. Rear seat is original black leather.   Car is VERY clean top to bottom, Steering wheel is like new, leather has no wear or marks. Original 17" spare tire, jack, tire iron, and hold down hardware all intact. All power options work perfect including cruise control and all windows, mirrors, and locks. All signals and lights are clear and work perfect. Car has daytime running lights for Canada and other countries installed already, which is perfect and money saving for export. Car has been driven very little the last few years. Around 2500 miles since 2009. This car looks and drives like a 5K mile car, It is that nice. Even a 5K mile car will not look, run and drive like this one. Entire car was disassembled and re-done...hood, front bumper and paint was stripped, primed 3X and block sanded to perfection, and repainted with 4 coats of base and 4 coats of clear, by my painter that does $100K+ restorations, then paint was color sanded and buffed panel by panel. It all matches perfect, and you can not tell anything has been painted. No road rash. No dents or dings ever.  Over $6K spent just on top quality painting materials. No expense spared. You will not find a nicer paint job on a Mustang. No mask lines, overspray, fish eyes, dirt, runs, orange peel, etc. I have owned over 100 Cobras, Cobra R's, Saleen's and Fox bodies and am VERY familiar with these cars!! I know what to look at and what they are and were from new. Every correct clip, nut, bolt, rivet, plug, sticker, rubber bumpers, etc is correct on this car!! Car is available for inspection and can be driven or shipped anywhere. 1 family owned car: myself and my father, who is now 69 years old. Never abused, road raced, or drag raced. Very fast. Fluidyne tig welded aluminum radiator, never runs hot even in 120 degree desert heat. Never pings on 91 octane gas. Centerforce Duel Friction clutch and pressure plate with resurfaced flywheel done 2K miles ago, very smooth transmission with no grinds, pop outs, or shudders. Firewall adjustable clutch cable. No ticking throw out bearing!! 550+ HP with very safe, reliable tune. 42lb injectors, 90mm mass air, Accel wires, 255 LPH fuel pump.Car is very easy to drive and is relaible Original Ford part # (see picture) Cobra R hood. Not a cheap knock off. All original Saleen ground effects, wheels, wing, springs, etc. Whether you look at this as a 15K MI 1 family owned 1995 Cobra, or as a 1998 Saleen Cobra with 15K MI, car is well worth the money. Parts alone are worth the cost of the whole car. 2003 Cobra front sway bar, 2003 Cobra front coil springs (raised the front slightly to prevent front bumper from rubbing driveways), 98 Cobra rear sway bar, offset rack bushings. The underside is as clean as the the rest of the car and was undercoated to reduce road noise. The pictures speak for themselves. This is a beautiful car and PERFECTLY balanced as far as looks, safety, economy, handling, braking, comfort, reliability, sound, and performance!! You can drive this car anywhere with no issues and it turns heads where ever you go.  This is the most balanced car you will ever drive. You will not find a nicer one for the money. These cars are very hard to find. CA car, not a car stored in humid salty air like the others out there either that do not have any underside photos. This is why I took as many pictures as I did, including the underside, so you can see how clean this car is everywhere. Car also has brand new shocks and struts, alignment, spark plugs, belt, fuel and air filters, and fluids. Battery is recent and in trunk. All suspension is tight and car tracks down the road like nicely. Car has been impeccably maintained and all services have been done before needed. Nothing overlooked. Most of this cars life, it has been in his garage at his vacation home (now sold).  I make it a point to start the car, let it warm up and drive it around the block at least once a month. I work with a shipping company that offers very reasonable enclosed transport too. Car will not leave and clear title (in hand) will not be sent until car is paid in full (and cleared) with either cash upon pick-up, direct deposit, loan check, or cashier's check/money order. All power windows and locks work perfect, no burnt out bulbs anywhere (including the radio too). Anything that didn't look or perform perfect, has always been replaced, or rebuilt. This Mustang runs and drives excellent and has never been raced or abused. There are no odors, rattles, or odd noises when driving. You can drive this car anywhere. The only things that I can complain about are 3 things and I have OCD pretty bad:  rear decklid wing has some urethane that seeped onto paint from underneath it onto the deck, I was afraid to use any chemicals to try to remove, my father took off the Saleen pedal covers as he kept on stepping on the brake when pushing in the clutch pedal with his golf shoes...instead of buying new OEM Ford pedal rubber pads (less than $15 each new), he drove 25 miles and wasted half a day to a wrecking yard and traded the Saleen pedal covers for used pedal covers off a stock 94-04 Mustang...go figure. Pedal covers new from LMR are about $30 for the pair. He also insisted on having these seats put in the car. They look nice, but I do not care for the stock leather in the rear and cloth in the front...this was his doing, not mine, and he put them in, even though stock seats were in perfect shape, again this was his deal and he traded the stock black leather seats for these new ones. They are nice, but I don't feel they are as sturdy. There is also a few chips in the paint that would not show up in the pictures. Just normal rock chips, nothing big, and less than you would expect on any used car. I am just being honest and I am pickier than anyone else I know. Mileage may also vary minimally as car may be driven for test drives and/or inspections. Please feel free to ask questions and I will answer promptly. Remember, you get what you pay for, this car does not need ANYTHING!! Car has been on No-Op since Oct, 2011 so there are no back fees due if you are in CA. It is less money for my father to rent a car when he comes to Palm Springs then to keep it registered and insured for the minimal amount of time he spends here. He has specialty car insurance on it with the same company I have all my cars with with an agreed replacement value of $35K (per exotic car appraiser who came up with the figure after spending over 1 hour looking over the car) and it is $450 per year.
