Vehicle Detail

I am thinking about selling my 1985 Lamborghini Jalpa to make some space VIN ZA9J00000FLA12212. I bought it earlier this year and had it in a restoration shop and while it was there I found and bought two other cars and lost interest in this project- out of sight out of mind. I was going to post it out on a Lambo forum but figured this would yield quicker results. 1980's sports cars seem to be trending up in value as people from that generation start having extra income. I saw one needing paint work and "recommissioning" to get it running in auction results last month and it went for over 60K so I see upside for someone who wanted to finish this one right. I bought the car from the last owner who had the car for 20+ years and its been in a resto shop in MA for the last ten+ years. I have receipts for over 80K during this time including receipts for work I had them do before delivering it to me. Other than a couple drives I havent had the time to do any work on it myself. The engine was rebuilt (cost over $27,000.00 10/2/2008 rcpt), dynoed and broken in and has less then 300 miles on it. The shop ran it regulary to keep it serviced while they did other work to the car. The clutch release bearing has been replaced, axle seals, oil coolers rebuilt, new stainless exhaust system (original included), front and rear brake calipers rebuilt pads also replaced, brake master cylinder replaced and lines, radiator redone, new fan switch and hoses, clutch master cylinder replaced, a new battery this year, etc, etc- all with less then 300 miles on them. Ive had more experience with Ferrari's over Lamborghini's but I can tell you you would need to at least mount rear view mirror, install headlights/bulbs (one plastic surround missing), replace turn signal lever/switch (used replacement included), headliner sags, pass window motor not working- fuse?, some paint chips and two star looking cracks in paint in front less then size of dime, there is maybe a minor 1 inch long impression on the hood which is hard to see and could be brought out without damage (couldn't get it to show in the pictures but I know its there). At this age there is some paint crazing and imperfections if you look closly enough at it. You need to connect radio, install hood release cable etc. I have box of parts including new spare oil filters etc. Basically its had the major work done but since its been off the road and in this resto shop I'm sure there will be some quirks that will need to be addressed- its still a project. It does start up nice and shift easy. This is a wild looking car that was produced in a very limited production. Its probably safe to say you most likely won't see another one at a local cruise night! Paperwork- I have a title in the last owners name released/signed over by the leasing company he financed it through and a bill of sale signing it over to me. As mentioned above it still needs some work like the headlights to be road legal and in CT a car has to be ready to go to register it. I don't plan on doing any additional work to it or registering it so you will get the paperwork I have as well as a bill of sale from me to you. Please be sure that your state or country is fine with that prior to bidding. A deposit of $300 is due within 48 hours of auction close and full payment within 7 days of auction close. After payment is cleared I'll transfer ownership and the car can be picked up. Car must be picked up within 6 weeks of auctions close. Selling as is where is and shipping/delivery is your responsibility. Buyers with no feedback or poor feedback will have bids removed. Please bid only if you have the funding to pay for the car and the transport to get it to you already secured. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thanks
