Vehicle Detail

-For sale a very rare restored 1971 914-6 The chassis and 914-6 mechanical parts sat untouched from 1985 until 2011. I have the original chassis maintenance book and documented milage from the time it was parked. Actual miles were in the low 30k range for chassis and mechanical parts (i.e. steering column, engine mount, ignition, window washer tank and washer motor, etc...) Title shows 32,756 miles as of 6/04/2009. -This car has been completely gone through and is rust free with perfect hell hole. There are more new parts than used...some parts are extremely rare. Factory 914-6 GT parts are available at an additional cost. -Engine is a very clean 911 Carrera 2 3.6 liter with an RSR chip producing 260 hp pulling this 2130 lbs car to 7300 rpm very strongly...perfect power to weight ratio for comfortable but exciting driving. This car has lots of grip and is very well balanced -Brakes have new hard lines and braided stainless steel and new 19mm master cylinder -Front brakes are 911 Carrera with restored calipers -Rear brakes are 914-6 GT ventilated disks with restored calipers and working emergency brake with brand new handle and cables -914-6 GT front oil cooler with twin electric fans and stainless steel oil lines -Gauges restored by Hollywood Speedometer and Clock -Transmission is a fully rebuilt 901 done by Renegade Hybrids with billet aluminum intermediate plate, new bearings, gears, with tall 5th gear for cruising at high speeds with low RPMs -Rear springs are 200lbs with Bilstein dampeners And much more...a lot of bang for the buck Please call Dean or Robert with any questions. 909-645-6303 You may also call R2 Racing of Santa Clarita *To build a car like this would take 90 to $100,000 dollars...And most likely it would be a conversion car... This car is way more than that and drives like a super car. *Factory seats are available in leather but the cornering this car is capable of warrants better support.
