Vehicle Detail

This is almost the last of my vintage Honda collection. A coworker knew I liked old Scramblers and he sold me a bike project he had started 31 years earlier. It came to me in about five boxes and baskets. Because he had cut the fenders and the seat was in bad shape, I made the bike into a cafe/scrambler. The motor was rebuilt. (New pistons, rings, cylinder sleeves re-done) Carbs rebuilt. Everything was repainted. New tires were put on. Extra weight was removed. Shocks rebuilt, new battery, new clutch and brake cables, new clutch plates. Everything worked well. Even though it ran great and was a blast to ride, I rarely drove it and now I do not ride motorcycles at all. I can say that the bike would turn a lot of heads. People would do u-turns to ask about it whenever I stopped to gas her up. Now it sits in my barn. I drained the gas so the carbs wouldn't gum up and even though the battery is on a trickle charger I have not started it this summer- so I figure it is time to let it go. Its issues are that it suffers from finicky fuel lines. The lines to one of the carbs would sometimes fill with air and I would have to stop and let the air out of the line. My other cl77 had the same problem. Even though there is no oil spot in my barn where the bike has sat for the past year, I suspect that right after it is driven it looses a drop or two. I would say that no part of this bike is not worn, dented, rusted or tarnished. It is a nearly 50 year old bike. Still, the overall effect is pretty cool looking. New Hampshire does not title bikes this old so it presently has no title. I'm hoping whoever buys this is fairly local. I want the purchaser to be happy so I would prefer they come see the bike in person before they buy. Local pick up is welcome. Any shipping arrangements would need to be arranged by the buyer and all shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. I would be glad to meet your shipper here. I have shipped bikes in the past and it is usually easy and problem free.
