Up for sale is a restored/tastefully modified CB400F, the little brother of the famous CB750. I bought the bike when it was in shambles around two years ago and bit by bit have done the research to restore this fun and functional machine the right way. The upgraded items listed in this description by no means constitute an exhaustive list of everything I have done to make this bike as reliable as it was the day it rolled out of the factory. The bike has been fitted with an oil cooler, most likely to offset the added engine running temperature of having also been bored out to a total displacement of 458cc. These modifications were made by the previous owner, and have been checked out by a local reputable small-engine racing mechanic. This same mechanic also re-honed the cylinder walls with a nice cross-hatch, replaced compression and oil piston rings on each piston, and reground the valves as well as replaced hardened valve seals. As shown in the pictures, the chrome shined up really nice with some TLC and polish. Tires are practically brand new (only about 1,000 miles on them), and the bike has been pampered with new original parts. Essentially the only parts that AREN'T original are the engine modifications and the tank/side panels paint and graphics (that's Mack-truck green, by the way).
