Purchased 06/2011, used by my son to get to class at college in Iowa. Graduation & move force sale. Bike has been well maintained by an independent Chicago area mechanic, has a clean title, starts and runs great, no known mechanical or electrical issues, except that speedometer/odometer are not working. No dents in the tank, tires are correct & in good shape. Lights, horn, and turn signals all work properly. The Good: Parts & Service since 6/2011: NOS 1980 manifold & matching Mikuni Carb (1978 manifold & carb included in sale), fuel filter installed, front forks rebuilt, new clutch cable, new front brake cable, new rectifier, points, condenser, timing & valves adjusted, new camshaft chain & pulley last fall. Seat re-built & recovered, new battery & horn this Spring. Oil changed every 500 miles/every season. The Bad: Speedometer/Odometer not working, suspect the cable is faulty. 3305 miles when purchased, stopped at 3684 miles in 05/12, Est. mileage now 4700. Haven't gotten around to fixing this yet. Left side cover mounting pin broken. Right rubber hand grip cracked at end. Honda tank & side cover decals missing. This is a great, dependable running bike looking for a good home.
