Vehicle Detail
This is a great and unbelievable car . I found it after talking to a man about loving to fix old cars. He told me it has always been in his family since it was bought in 1950 by his grandfather. They put it in an open garage almost 30 years ago after his grandfather passed , then his aunt gave it to him many years later. He had no where to store it so it set outside for almost 22 years and that's when all the weather conditions played its toll on the car. We purchased it and it was very interesting to find it was going to be a challenge to get running . But after several cuts ,cuss words and a lot of patience it is now once again alive and WOW it purrs like it was new. The water pump is BAD but I have ordered a new one from ebay just waiting on it to come in . And the brakes are shot, after checking all the wheel cylinders , and searching for like an hour for its location found out the master cylinder is bad , everything else brake wise looks good. Most of the glass is good with the exception of the quarter glass on the right door is cracked. The floor pans are in bad shape and need to be replaced already bought the front pans for both sides but the rear is up to you . The trunk is so so a person could use patch work to fix but is you want a show car I would go the extra mile and do it all. Everything else looks pretty good although it does still operate on 6 Volt which is really crappy I would convert it . The transmission does operate I didn't go very fast driving it remember NO BRAKES LOL but I tested it and it all seams to be good. It does have some funny kind of magnifying thing on the dash above the gauges haven't figured that one out yet but oh well you might no its purpose. One cool thing I did find in the car was the BOS when it was bought in 1950 I think it needs to remain with its car so it goes with it. Any more questions I didn't answer please feel free to ask me or call me I will help any way I can .. THIS IS A BILL OF SALE ONLY PURCHASE !!!!!!! It never had a title . Thank you and Happy bidding .
