VIN has been added to details above. Up for auction is my 1973 Mustang Convertible. Well optioned out of the factory. Power steering, power front disc brakes, power top, air conditioning.This was my project for the last few years and I have lost interest and decided to move on and focus on my family. I received the vehicle a few years ago from a field in Northeast Kansas. It was stored inside for most of its life, but the previous owner needed room, so it was moved out. Vehicle was originally gold in color, previous owner painted it red and black in the early 80s. The motor was free spinning, but did not fire due to mice eating the main harness. I bought a new harness, spark plugs, pertronix ignitor II and flamethrower coil. I finally tore down the carburetor and completely cleaned and rebuild it with a GP Sorenson rebuild kit. I connected a bottle to the new fuel filter and it will start up and idle off that bottle.Currently the fuel inlet is capped off as I did not want to hook up the fuel line from the fuel pump until I replaced the fuel pump and gas tank; both of which will be included in the sale. Brakes will need to be completely overhauled, Left front caliper is not attached. The interior is the worst part about this car; there is no interior except some random pieces and the console(see pictures). The floor is completely rusted out and is almost ready to have it cut out and a new one dropped in. As far as any other rust, there is next to nothing. Torque boxes are in good shape, front rails on the unibody are in good shape, slight surface rust on the inside wheel wells. Currently installed is the NACA or NASA Hood with scoops, I also have the original hood that came with the vehicle. Top frame is in good shape, hydraulic motor for top seems to be in good shape. Top will need to be replaced. All Glass is in good shape. Almost brand new BF Goodrich tires and a Cooper Cobra on 15 inch Magnum 500 rims. Clean Oklahoma title. Vehicle will need to be towed, more than likely on a flatbed trailer.
