I have for sale my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible. I purchased this car from the original owner’s son last year. It was bought new right here in Fresno CA. where it has remained its whole life and has traveled less than 49,000 miles. It still wears its original paint and the interior is original as well. I have the original window sticker! Please read the following description: Mechanics: It is powered by its original Rocket 350 cu in. 4BBL V8, and turbo hydramatic transmission. This car starts, runs, drives, and stops like a car with less than 50K miles should. No rattles or shakes Accessories: (TAKEN FROM WINDOW STICKER) 2.73:1 AXLE RATIO, super stock II wheels, air conditioning (which blows cold), sport style mirrors, power brakes with front disc, power steering, body side paint stripe, HD cooling, interior lamp group and power top. Original radio was replaced with a cassette deck in the 80’s. Body: this is an original California car which is 100% rust free. Still wearing its original blue and yellow California license plates. The paint is all original and from 20’ looks great. At close inspection there are the usual door dings and scratches that you would find on a 42 year old car. It is 100% rust/rot/bondo/primer FREE!! NO hidden or covered up problems. Trunk looks factory fresh with original bias ply spare, with jack. Only negative is at one time car had an ancient car phone which required an antenna which was installed in trunk lid. It now has a rubber plug filling that hole(see pic) Chrome: bumpers and trim is all original and in great shape . Wheels and tires: still has factory Super Stock II color keyed wheels with original trim rings and screw on center caps. Has almost new set of BFG 235/60-14 tires Interior: It 100% original and in very nice shape. Front bench seat has a couple split seams on driver’s side (see pic) Dash has no cracks. Factory radio replaced with cassette deck(works). One feature which is kind of cool but hurts originality is years ago the original owner had a custom tonneau cover made to cover the complete interior when top is down. It has a zippered center so you can just have drivers seat open and rest of interior covered.(see pics). However, they installed snaps in the top of the door panels and along the dash. Not too noticeable. Glass: all glass is in great condition. Manual windows rolled up and down fine. Convertible top: Top was replaced in the 90’s and still in great shape. Has Glass back window. Power top operates as it should Conclusion: You are buying a very nice, very low mileage, very original, California rust free dry Cutlass Convertible. Drive anywhere. The only reason I am selling is I just bought a Corvette, and I promised the wife I would sell something.
