Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a dry desert 1966 Plymouth Barracuda. See attached build sheet prepared for the previous owner. This car was built in Los Angeles and sold and spent it's entire life in the southern Nevada desert. It was traded in locally here by the owner who moved here from Nevada. I purchased it last year for my wife. It is 100 percent rust free, from top to bottom. It was originally light blue, but had been painted midnight white. Some of the paint was flaking off in a couple places on the sides, because of a poor quality paint job. So I put it in the body shop to get a new paint job. They painted everything but the roof, which was still in perfect shape. The car is now show quality. Not concourse show quality, but local car show quality. The original chrome is still excellent. The underside has not been touched, and is in excellent condition. The interior is 100 percent original, and except for some fading of the carpet, looks almost new inside. The seats are immaculate. The dash is immaculate and nothing has been added or taken out. The original AM radio is unplugged, because there is a CD/stereo player inside the glove box. Everything works like new, except the speedometer. I unplugged it from the back because the needle bounced so bad. It shows 82,000 miles, and is supposedly correct. This car has the original 273 V-8 engine, which I was told has never been apart. It is amazingly clean, and runs perfect. It has the original Torqueflite automatic transmission, which shifts smooth as silk. This car runs as good as it looks. It runs nice and cool all the time, doesn't smoke a bit, and does not leak any oil or fluids. The engine is tight as new. It also has the rare factory air conditioner, which blows ice cold. This car needs absolutely nothing. It is ready to drive anywhere. I have put about 500 miles on the car, just going to car shows. It won trophies at three out of five shows. It is mechanically perfect, and is one of the nicest looking 66 Barracudas I've seen. It has power brakes and power steering. It drives down the road like a new car, very straight and no wobble, pulling to either side, nothing. It drives as good as a 1966 car can drive. You can hit the brakes with your hands off the steering wheel, and it still goes straight. It has 5 spoke American Racing mags. The tires have about 85 percent of the tread left, so they should last a long time. The new owner of this car will not be disappointed. I'm only selling it because my wife does not drive it at all. She went to the first show with me and decided it wasn't for her. I own a vintage motorcycle shop, so I can use the money to invest in more bikes. Speaking of that, I would consider trades for vintage motorcycles, especially 1969 thru 1975 Kawasaki 750 triples, or Z1 900cc Kawasaki's. I am interested in any model motorcycle, but nothing newer than 1975. So, if you have a vintage bike, and I collect other brands also, let me know what you have, and maybe we can make a deal. The older, the better. Old Harleys, British bikes, and others considered. I would also trade for a 4 speed Camaro, Chevelle, GTO, or other muscle cars. For the right car, I would even add some cash. But it must be as nice as this one. I don't want any projects. You can email me any time, or call or text me at: 567-295-9060 I just remembered I forgot some things. If you can't read the build sheet, it says this car has 2.93 rear end gears, factory tinted windshield, safety padded dash and padded sun visors, and custom factory retractable seat belts, front and rear. As for payment, I require $250 deposit into my pay pal account immediately. I will expect payment in full within 7 days of end of auction, by means of a bank wire transfer, or a certified bank check. I do not accept full payment by pay pal. I will not release the car until your check clears my bank, so a wire transfer is the fastest way to get your car. I will accept cash only if you are picking the car up yourself. If you need the car shipped anywhere inside the United States, I can arrange that for you. If you are not in the United States, you will be required to arrange your own shipping. I do have plenty of experience shipping motorcycles overseas, and it is no problem at all. I will help you with that, but only after the car has been paid in full. Do not hesitate to bid if you are outside the United States. I will get the car to you safely, no matter where you are. Don't let this one pass you by. You will love this car if you are a Mopar person. It may be the nicest original one left (except paint). Thank you so much for looking, and may God Bless you. Richard at Motorcycle Missions of America.
