*NOTE: Relisted because the last winning bidder was a scammer/con artist. Please take this seriously and ONLY bid if you intend on following through with immediate contact & payment as described below. Thanks for understanding...now, on to the car: You're looking at my gorgeous 1991 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera 2 cabriolet, finished in bright white with near perfect lipstick red leather (white piping on seats) with only 51k original miles. The car is very clean, but has been sitting for a few years covered and I don't have time to fool with it now as we just bought a new river house and I'm selling several of my 911's to put towards the purchase/remodel. I am selling this car as a PROJECT. It is 100% complete and ready for someone to put back on the road. The car is very pretty and the interior is super nice, as is the body. Paint overall is nice but the passenger side door is a slightly different shade of white...hard to tell from certain angles. All gaps are nice. The soft top is good, but the rear plastic window is shot...cracking and discolored. Dash is perfect with no cracks. The factory rims are gorgeous and tires show well but are older and most likely have flat spots from sitting. Since the car has been sitting for years, I didn't want to attempt to crank it over. It will turn by hand but I would assume you would want to go through it though for safety/peace of mind reasons. I have no idea how the electrical is now as the battery is long dead, but everything is tidy and no rodents seem to have gotten in. Please don't expect to hook a new battery up, fill the gas tank, put the car in Drive and go with no issues. The car has been sitting for several years. It is being sold as a project. I don't know what will be involved with the engine, electronics, etc and do not have time to fool with myself. Just trying to be clear. It's a beautiful car that will be worth in the $35k range when back on the road. The body is dent free and the front trunk is clean and tidy. I have all manuals, some records, and all keys for it. Not much to say other than it is a nice project for someone and will only go up in value over the years. These air cooled Porsche's are going through the roof. This particular 911 is an automatic. When transporting the car to my new home the other day using a tow strap, I bumped a dirt berm when turning a corner and caused a small crack in the front bumper cover on the drivers side just below the turn signal light. Lense was untouched and fine. It's about 6" and can be easily repaired by your body shop. The original listing from last week has pictures that were taken prior to this happening the other day. I am attaching a new pic of the bumper crack. I just sold several of my other 911's to raise money for the river house...this is one of the last to go for now. Clean, clear title, in my name, in my possession. I would be happy to entertain serious international buyers. The Port of Charleston is only about 3 hours from my home. I am a private collector, not a dealer, so all sales are final. No returns, and no warranties expressed or implied. Please make sure your funds are readily available as I require a $500 paypal deposit immediately following the end of the the auction (so I know you're serious) and full payment within 5 days of auction end. The last "winner" has not only wasted my money, but my time as well. Thanks for looking and message me with any questions/offers. Happy bidding and good luck. This is a no reserve auction, so the last bid wins! I have the car for sale in several other venues and will let it go before the auction ends for $17,500. Contact me through eBay if interested. Thanks! On Jul-17-14 at 04:20:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I'd like to add that I bought the car a while back in this current state to eventually restore myself, so I have not had the car running nor know it's condition. Again, it's being sold as a PROJECT.On Jul-18-14 at 19:49:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a buddy turn the motor by hand again and it is free but then has resistance and stops, suggesting maybe a dropped valve? Not really sure. Plan on going thru the engine, at least the top end.
