Alright all you amc guys heres one you haven't seen a 1966 rambler American 440 2 dr hardtop .. 290 v/8 4 barrel . t10 4spd 12 bolt rear . This car was special orderer by a gentleman in Bristow Oklahoma who was into sleeper cars . he wanted this little car to deal with the pony cars around his area , and from what ive been told he won his share of races . He replaced his amc with a 68 long bed chevy truck with a corvette 427 tripower 4 spd . The rambler remained at his home until his passing 2 years ago ,went to his neighbor , that's who I bought it from . the motor was newly rebuilt , I took it apart to reseal it and its a stock bore with crosshatch still in cyls and new mains and inserts so I reassembled it and rebuilt the original carter carb put new clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing , new distributor, starter , plugs wires points etc ,, The motor runs and sounds great thru brand new exhaust , car still needs full restore but is super solid , it does need a windshield and 2 drivers side windows due to idiot kids with bb gun ,, floors are in great shape as well as trunk floor frame rails etc the car has no title due to family not being able to find it ,, but ill give a notorized bill of sale had police run it no history , overall a very cool low production muscle car , the figures on this little car are lower than the 520 production nos of the rouge models , so if amcs are your thing don't miss out on this very cool little car .
