Wow. I hate to sell this one. My wife just had to have it. It turned out to be too tall for her. She ended up with a Sportster and a Yamaha XS-650 which is slightly shorter. This old bike starts (kick or electric), runs, shifts, rides like new. Everything works....IE., lights, horn, starter, tachometer, speedometer. Original as far as I can detect with the exception of the tank and side cover paint. It was freshly redone when I bought it. It is good-quality paint and well-done as well. Battery is approximately 1 year old. New tires. Exhaust is good except for a burn-through on the very bottom end of one outlet pipe. Hard to see and didn't show up in photo. Could be repaired but I was afraid it would "blue" the chrome. Again...it is just the tip end of one tail-pipe...not the muffler. Small tear in the original seat cover (see photo). This too could be repaired but is probably best left alone. All in all....a very nice old Scrambler. I rode it last night and it is good to go. Photos represent it as of today. It has not been cleaned since last year. I store it in a large trailer so it is not exposed to the elements. A little dusty but that's about it.
