The previous owner did not understand what the oil site glass was for...he ran the engine low on oil...It needed work. I replaced the entire motor with another 2003 motor with 15,000 miles on it. Everything listed in the description above applies to the bike as it is now. I will not mislead anyone on what I'm selling. The bike runs perfect, no leaks, no issues at all and handles very well. Selling the bike because I bought a 14 year old Italian mistress... A 2000 Ducati 996. I'm 59 and finally got the bike I've wanted for a long time. For got to mention...bike has the Dale Walker fuel management module. He does all the dyno work to develop model specific settings. It made a noticeable difference.
