We're downsizing to a smaller property without a toy barn, so it's time to thin the herd. Up for bid is our 1972 Corvette Stingray T-top coupe. It is a very original car, with original paint & interior in good condition. The original 350 V8 and 4speed manual transmission both work fine. The odometer has only 45715 original miles on it. It has been garage kept all of it's life, and it shows. The interior carpeting & seats are not sunfaded and the dash is not cracked. Frt & rear chrome bumpers are straight & shiny. The car is a rare emerald green color with tan leatherette interior. The hideaway headlights and wipers both work as new. It has t-tops and the original storage bags. Options include radio, air conditioning, power steering and luggage rack. The worst problem on the car (and it is minor) is a spot of shrunk/crazed paint on the passenger front fender. See pics. Otherwise it looks pretty much the same as the day it was built. Minor updates include: The exhaust system has been replaced with a complete Stainless system. The original radio has been replaced with an AM/FM cassette player. A new Diehard battery & terminals were installed a few months ago. New V-belts and rebuilt front brake calipers & pads were installed a few weeks ago. The tires have excellent tread but are of unknown age. The car drives excellent and needs nothing. Comes complete with Kermit the frog and a nice car cover. Can be viewed in Lancaster Ohio 43130. This Corvette is in excellent condition, but it is a 42 year old used car, so it is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty of any kind. Upon completion of auction a $500 deposit is due within 48hrs. Payment in full due within 5 days. Car must be picked up within 3 weeks because storage space is disappearing. We will work with your shipper if they need to come here to pick up the car.
