1968 Cadillac Superior Hearse. I purchased this hearse a few years ago with the intention of finishing the back with limo seating, since it had already been gutted by previous owner.. I have since put on all new tires, a starter and replaced all the brakes, including new brake lines. The previous owner did a lot of work on it , I was going to finish it but have other more pressing projects to deal with.. I do not know the mileage, the previous owner said he put in a newer rebuilt 500 motor..You can tell by the photos that the motor has upgrades and is not stock. I did not build it so I do not know any details regarding the drivetrain.. All the body work has been done with new paint and a new vinyl top put on it. Some of the trim still needs to be put back on but is in the car and goes with it, ( I also still have the original grill with the other trim).. The car has been sitting in the garage for the last couple years, but it ran and drove ok before I put it away.. I threw a new battery and some gas in it last weekend and it fired up and ran.. It did make some clanking,knocking noise that may need to be addressed, but I am not sure what the problem is.. Added bonus not found on newer models, both rear side doors have windows that open.. This is a good project for someone to finish, most of the expensive areas have already been finished.. I have all the receipts for the work I had done to the car..and parts I replaced.. Car has:: Recent body work. Newer custom paint job with ghost flames. New white wall tires. Newer rebuilt 500 motor (according to previous owner) New vinyl top. New starter. All new Brakes. Stereo system. What it will need:: Finish the interior.(including brand new leather seat) Finish installing trim.(comes with the car) Look into clanking,knocking noise. old owner used a hose to connect the new gas tank.
