Up for auction today is a 1959 Dodge Cornet.Somebody cut the top off and converted it into a convertible.. Its in pretty nice shape for the age.Has minable rust on the passengers side rocker and rear quarter. Otherwise the frame and everything else is excellent.59s were the last year for the flat head six and this girl has one.Pushbotton automatic. I had a carb kit put in the original carb and put new plugs and points in it.Changed oil and filter. Has brand new fuel pump also. It runs good and dosent smoke. It needs a muffler and the one wheel cylinder is leaking. It drives well except for the brakes.I beleive only one peice of chrome is missing.Has new front tires.
