Vehicle Detail
1991 Miata AS-NEW 15,000 Original Miles Automatic Transmission One Family Owned 100% original This car was bought Brand New by my uncle as an anniversary present for my aunt. My aunt also had a soccer-mom van that she used on a regular basis so she drove the Mazda only on special rare occasions. They gave the car to their daughter when she graduated from high school. The daughter took it with her to college. She kept the car in an underground garage. She didn’t need a car in college except to drive home on holidays for the next six years. After she graduated she married and had a baby, so there was no need for a sports car. This car has been in the same family from the start. It has always been garaged, serviced regularly, driven by a lady, and has never even had a door ding. The paint, interior, mechanics are all 100% original. (except tires, they have about 1,000 miles on them) You could not find a nicer Miata unless you bought a new one. This car does not have even one door ding. You would also have to look for a long time to find one with such low original miles. And, 1 out of 10 is an automatic. My cousin and her husband are both doctors and don’t have the time to sell the car themselves so they traded it to me for a boat that I had for sale for $20,000. They were told by their Mercedes dealer that if the dealer had the car he would ask $12,995 and probably get $12,000. They were told that they could sell it themselves for $10,000 very easily so I took the car in on trade as partial payment on the boat. I had to pay $775 to transport the car to California. This is an auction with no reserve and the high bidder will win the car. However, I will sell it before the last 24 hours of the auction for $10,000 plus $775 I paid for shipping. $10,775. Clean Texas title in hand. This car is in Walnut, CA (far eastern part of Los Angeles County)It is available for inspection or test drive anytime. Note, you would be a lot better off to buy a car like this with 15,200 original miles for $10,000 then to buy one for 7 to $8,000 with 40 or 50,000 miles. On Jul-04-14 at 09:54:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Attn; California buyers. I have already done a California DMV Vehicle Verification form for this car.
