Selling my 1948 five window 1/2 ton Texas truck. Original survivor with very little rust, Original numbers matching engine. Starts and runs well. Had a professional mechanical shop in Dallas go through the truck to prepare it for a 1,000 mile drive but never got the time so I had it transported to my shop in South Georgia.. A partial list of work done: new kingpins and all steering components including shocks and new radial tires. New front springs. New clutch, pressure plate and TO bearing. New universal joints. New Brakes done all the way around including all new steel and rubber lines. New fuel lines, complete fuel system flush and tank seal, rebuilt original carb, complete tune-up. This is a partial list and I have receipts for over $6,000 in mechanical work done. 100% complete including rare push bar on the front. I have been offered $750 for the push bar. This was a $4,000 body with over $6,000 spent on mechanicals but I don't have the time to finish it and it deserves to be restored. Great patina.
