You can research the details online, but here are the basics: • Assembled in Bertone, Italy from a “body-in-white” kit manufactured at the MINI plant in Oxford, England • The most powerful first generation production engine, with John Cooper Works upgrade, further boosted to approx 215hp / 180ftlb torque • Weight savings of almost 100 LBS by removing the rear seat and substituting aluminum rear control arms • Unique “Thunder Blue” body color, with silver roof and contrasting red mirror caps • Unique aero kit, including carbon fiber rear “wing” spoiler and underbody panelling for improved aerodynamics • Unique 18″ lightweight wheels • Unique “anthracite” speedometer & rev counter dials, heated black leather sport seats over silver woven inserts with red stitching, red rear side panels and brace, silver painted dash/doors 25,300 miles. Regularly serviced (at Detroit Tuned) with Royal Purple engine oil, as did the previous owner. This GP has always been garaged and hand washed. Detailed inside and out with the utmost regularity, weather avoided at all costs. It has a brand new set of top line Michelin Pilot Super Sport (non run-flats of course) tires, improving both ride and handling immeasurably over the stock Dunlops. Had full top-to-bottom inspection last Summer by Motor City MINI. The Crank Sensor O-Ring and Thermostat and Aux Cooling Fan were all replaced along with the cabin microfilter. A 4-wheel Alignment was also done at this time. No expense has ever been spared. GP1843 has been truly babied and is in extraordinary condition: No kids, pets, smoking, etc. Over $5000+ spent on upgrades including: 1.) VIP Strut Tower Protectors (above) and matching Strut Bar - coupled with Craven Speed Tower Indurators (below) this will prevent any “mushrooming of the shock towers. The VIP’s are 1/2” thick and powder-coated - very impressive. 2.) VIP Engine Stabilizer - I had the supports powder-coated black to match. 3.) JCW Grill - gives the GP a meaner, more cohesive appearance. 4.) Detroit Tuned Tensioner Stop 5.) Craven Speed Short Shifter - please don't drive an R53 without this - huge improvement! 6.) Craven Speed Tow Hook - red of course to match the mirrors. 7.) Craven Speed X-Bracket and Mounting Arm - So I can use my Smartphone as my NAV., etc. 8.) Ireland Engineering Trans Bushing Kit. 9.) JCW HIgh Flow Air Filter - coupled with Detroit Tuned usual JCW Air Box mods 10.) JCW Carbon Fiber Boot Handle - Amazing ($$$) piece, to match the rear spoiler. 11.) Hotchkis H-Sport 25mm Rear Sway Bar - drastically improves corning speeds and turn-in. 12.) TSW Motor Mount - The stock one is known for failure so I swapped this immediately. 13.) Fade To Black - Professionally Window Tinted @ 30% 14.) Fade To Black - VentureShield protective film (the best/clear-coated) Professionally applied to front bumper/lower grill inserts/front of hood/mirrors/top of rear bumper below hatch, leading edge of roof/side skirts 15.) Fade To Black - Headlights Professionally covered in very expensive tinted film - yellow to be “Euro/Retro and also complete primary color scheme of Blue/Red/Yellow 16.) Fade To Black - Tail Lights/Side Markers also covered in thicker film, smoked grey. 17.) Smoked Side Marker Lights in Side Scuttles to match tinted side markers and tail lights. 18.) Fitted Sun shade for windshield keeps car cool if parked outside in Summer. 19.) MINI Cooper S rubber mats. Original GP carpeted mats also included. 20.) All stock parts included in sale.
