1931 Oldsmobile deluxe sport coupe with rumble seat, dual sidemounts and golf club door. Garaged in Rodgersville Tennessee. Solid original car with very nice wood,all doors ,windows,glass,cowls,fenders,grille good shape. Body is straight with no rust in normal areas, has surface rust under fenders that is from road use up to 1979, and garaged since. Runs and drives, needs restoration, exhaust, tune up. New fuel pump , tank cleaned, new battery, tie rod ends and drag link bar. Big six cylinder motor with 3 spd trans, runs and sounds fine, no noises.all oem drivetrain,stock radiator and mascot. First year for downdraft carburetor and has top end engine oiler on firewall, very complete under hood, no cracks or broken parts on manifolds or motor, the generator charges and the oil prs. is good. Coolant is full , engine has no leaks. The brake linings are good ,new rear wheel bearings, the manual cable brakes need to be gone through and adjusted so all tires brake same time, normal service for the year, they would put cable tensioners on that have a j hook, have all wheels off ground and adjust tension as all wheels grab evenly. All controls work, push button starter, choke,lights,fog horn,need w.wiper work. Car has grille shutters that are rod operated to control air through radiator.Have hand crank also. All body mounts and wood are solid, cowl to frame is solid, bottom of doors have no rust, rumble seat and lid are nice has small area lower left that is minor, tank cover panel and luggage rack are stock, rumble seat floor is very good too. Look at pictures and you will see the lower body lines and metal are very good . The cloth top is nice with no decay or rips. The interior is original and has fire extingusher,headliner with light,oem seat,will need a full restoration of interior, but it is untouched , including all window trim & the rear window rolls down also , all glass is good. This is a hard to find car that is solid and in need of a going through,runs and drives, needs restoration, has original paint, some dents on rear fenders,light surface rust under fenders, floors,frame is solid. Do not have the correct rims for sidemounts, some spare parts and several hubcaps come with car. New York registration and paperwork with car, non- titled.
