It’s what everybody wants now And a Great Investment As Well!!! If you know these Last Convertible Year Model 75’ Corvette Convertibles, you know a few important key points… They are Very Hot, Very Collectable, Eye-Catching, offers modern ride/drive, trendy and well preserved ones drive like a dream! My wife and I have had so much fun driving this car and would not be afraid to take it anywhere! The engine has the perfect blend of pep, smoothness and throaty sound through the factory exhaust (still has the correct cross-over from the manifolds). It is a rare color combination and an equally rare survivor type condition kind of find. This C3 has no rust issues that I can find and runs and drives like a new vehicle…it stops people in their tracks when you drive by or stop. It’s hard to pin-point your favorite thing about this Corvette…is it the fact that things still work as it should like the key buzzer, lock-out reverse, or the great color combination, very smooth 4-speed transmission or simply the very tight top-down driving that is delivers. Either way it puts a smile on your face and you hear nothing but compliments. It truly offers a sun in your face hair blowing in the wind stress-relieving drives to the mountains, the lakes or over to a friends place. Things work as they should including but not limited to Headlights/Taillights, Very Quick Headlight doors, Signals, Interior Dash Lights, Gauges, Heat & A/C, Speedometer, Wipers, Horn, Stereo, Power Windows, Telescopic Wheel, Key Buzzer, start-up choke, etc… Get in, hit the key and hit the road smiling…that is all it takes to have fun in this one…it was preserved to drive but kept detailed at a nice level allowing you to show it with confidence. Is this C3 perfect? No and none of them are… I consider myself very particular and am usually much more critical of the cars in my collection than anyone else but try to be very forth-coming with details. The A/C has been converted to R 134 and is just "okay" blowing between cool and cold but they were not freezers when new. The clock does not work well and the tachometer works well but dials backwards in its movement…I have read forums about this and it only requires a printed circuit panel change but not a big deal to me. There are two small blemishes on the driver’s side inner door panel at the upper attachment screw areas and lastly, there are a couple of paint blemishes to note (lower part of left qtr panel in front of the rear tire that was a run in the clear and can be wet sanded and buffed. Also an area of the upper-right section of the hood appears to have a few bubbles in clear and should also be able to wet sand and buff out). If you look very close, the clamshell has a fine impression from the hard-top seal and it too should buff out just fine. Considering that his car is 39 years old and the repaint is 12 years old and still shows very well reflects just how well this car has been preserved and maintained. Why am I selling it: I am just reducing my collection… this is a great find and a rare color / condition Corvette. Thanks for taking the time to look at my car and GOOD LUCK!On Jun-17-14 at 08:24:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to note that the mileage is now 79,950... The refinements that started with 74' and continued evolutions for 75' simply made these cars a pleasure to drive with real dependability and we have done just that, driven it. My son and I took it to the mountains for a Father's Day drive Sunday and had a blast but that is where a few of the new miles came from. We also take it to the lake and weekly cruise-ins.On Jun-21-14 at 16:31:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to quickly put an A/C note in... it is really cold when you first start and drive the car for a bit and then it tends to blow less cool. I rarely ever use it and have not had it checked but just noticed this trend... it might need some freon?
