I have to relist, due to Non-Pay , Please be a serious buyer ,check my feedback , I sell great items .When I first listed this wonderful automobile, I was informed by a very nice gentleman, that by its serial no. B29BC ,It was black ,when built. We have removed door panels and insulation , all shows silver gray paint .So the color change, would have had to be done, on a completely taken apart automobile ! a long time ago. Also the UNUSUAL CONFIGURATION TO REAR QUARTER WINDOW ,please see photos , latch sets on raised door trim wood , which shows great attention to detail , custom or Factory ?, have not seen this done, before on this model . So all this said ....... This is a chance to own a original 1956 Bentley saloon !!!!!! low serial no. paint ,most of it original ?? down to its pin stripping. Front fender's , have had bondo , repair due to rust ,common area's . Bottom trim removed , Photos will show this. I have removed driver side sport mirror, do to distraction, also front trim spear is there ,does not look like it in photos. Motor starts on first turn of the key. Good automatic trans. Interior ,carpet removed ,due to rot. wood will clean up very well. I have been putting Lexal on the leather to soften . Has issues on front seat, please see photos. We rebuilt ,wheel cylinders ,master cylinder, pulled and cleaned points, in the dual fuel pumps. Cleaned dist. points . Radiator has a few pin holes, leaks anti freeze, does not pour out, you can run motor for some time, I will not put in stop leak , You will need to pull radiator and fix it right! Chassis has surface rust, rear driver dog leg should have some welding done , Rockers have had some aluminum work.Now for some serious talk ,I have been buying and selling vintage cars for over 40 years, Ferraris over 30, Rolls ,Bentley, Jags , ETC. This automobile is magic I stare at it for hours ,Don't know if its old age ,or to much exhaust gas, but I love this car! You could clear coat the paint, that's there ,put on 4 new tires, carpet, electrics do work ,clean up the wood ,and You My friend ,would be the talk of the next cocktail party. Original cars are the flavor of the month, for a reason! Go cross country no ! Across town sure! It has a period radio missing knob, does not work. all glass is good, all trim around windows very good. I have a modest reserve ,will help to load, for shipping to were ever .
