We purchased this car almost exactly one year ago from an estate sale in TN, didn’t go out looking for an old Camaro just knew about this estate sale and ended up buying the car! The history of the car before we purchased it in July of 2013 is unknown on our end, we do know it was titled in TN and owned by an elderly gentlemen that kept it in his shop beside his house. He did drive it regularly and it was his pride and enjoy around town! We are also not antique car collectors by any means and have not researched but sure someone in the business has a way of finding history on a unit like this. Since we have owned the car it has been stored indoors, driven less than 100 miles, washed and cranked regularly, other than that have really done nothing to the car, we have not painted anything, repaired any bad spots, patched anything up, simply did the things listed above! It has always fired right up, cranks great, runs great and will hit the highway right now and drive to your location. The negative things to bring out are first of all the car was sold from the factory with an automatic transmission, still has everything but the actual shift lever on the steering column, if I was going to keep I would put an automatic transmission back in it, that was done by the previous owner we suppose and I simply prefer an automatic, the headliner is falling on the sides, it is fine in the center just falling on the sides, the stereo which is AM only does not work, the ignition and key turn the car on but the starter to crank is a toggle switch on the dash to the right of the ignition, again this was done by previous owner and could be changed back to all off ignition switch fairly easy, the front and rear bumpers are a little discolored but should polish back to a shine with a little time and work, all of these negative strikes against the car can clearly be seen in the photos! The positive things to bring out are first of all it looks great and runs great, at some point it was painted and the paint looks great, no scratches, knicks, runs or bad spots anywhere, mirror reflecting paint job that is nice, again the car cranks right up, drives down the road/highway great, has a good comfortable ride, responsive/quick take off, just a good dependable car. As mentioned earlier we purchased it pretty much like it is, we have not painted, patched or really even done serious polishing/cleaning on it, would suggest a good servicing and a serious detail, it has been washed but needs a good complete detail. Please remember it is going to have a new owner regardless of price so you have a fair chance just like everyone else bidding. We are not a collector or antique car dealer and simply don’t want the car any longer and would rather have the cash!
