RELISTED DUE TO A NON-PAYING HIGH BIDDERPLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BIDDING ON, CAN'T PAY FOR IT, OR WON'T PAY FOR IT 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Post350 V-83 Speed Automatic TransmissionRally WheelsRecent Paint, Interior, and Windshield Offered for sale is one of America's most desirable cars...the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. The Bel Air was the highest model, and this is the 2 door sedan model. As you can see in the photos, it's a good looking car. The trim is intact, the body looks great, and the interior has been redone. It has been raining here for the past few days, so I put off taking pictures, but the forecast shows more rain, so I decided to go ahead and take them. The car is shiny when it's not wet. It's paint is smooth, no visible rust or bubbles, and the glass is all good. The windshield and rubber seal were replaced last week, so they're perfect. I tried to get a picture from every angle so you can see how it all lines up. It can be driven just like it is, and you can fly in and drive it home if you are the adventurous type. The car starts easily, idles well, steers, shifts, and stops like it should. It has a great sounding small block V-8 with dual exhaust. Not loud, but sounds excellent. I was told it is a 350. It has a 3 speed automatic transmission, which replaced the factory Powerglide. As far as if it's a Real Bel Air or not...I'm going by the VIN or serial number, if you prefer it to be called that. It starts with a "V". That means it was a factory V-8 car. 6 cylinder cars started with an A, B, or C...not a V. A= a 150 model, B= a 210 model, and C= a Bel Air. This is a VC car, and shown on the serial number plate photo from inside the driver's door. I didn't go by the chrome that is or isn't there...I went by the actual number of the car. You decide for yourself. I'm going with the facts that I can prove. Also, the cowl tag on the firewall has the body code of "1100", which is for Bel Air and 210 sedans. Do your homework, ask permission from whomever you need approval from, and have your money ready. Please don't be like the last flake and bid multiple times just for the fun of winning and no intention of ever buying it. ALL ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS NEED TO CONTACT ME OR YOR BIDS WILL BE CANCELED. I'm sorry that it's come to that, but the last high bidder showed me how I need to be. It's nothing personal, just business. The interior was replaced and looks good, as seen in the pictures. The headliner, door panels, and carpet all look great. It's a car you can buy and drive without having to do a lot of work to it. It's a good 5-10 footer, but if you've tried to find cheap 57 Chevys, it's near impossible. I don't have access to a lift, so I can't get photos of the underneath. The trunk, areas around the windshield and rear window, and the cowl and firewall are all very solid. The car is being listed to be sold. Please, no games or dreamers. You either want the car and can pay for it, or you can't. Let's not make this harder than it has to be. If you want to see it first, please inspect BEFORE the auction ends. You're bidding to win, not to set up a future date to look it over. Serious buyers will know what to do. I reserve the right to end the auction early for those who just can't wait. I'll help any way that I can. I can send additional pictures if you send me your email address, and I can get you in touch with the owner if there's anything you need to speak to him about. I have a clean, clear title in hand that's ready to hand off to the new owner. The car will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared. If you hit the Buy it Now and end the auction early, the payment should come quickly. If you want to wait and see how the auction turns out, that's your call. I don't think it will go the full 7 days, but time will tell. These 2 door 57s are getting harder and harder to find. You can reach me at northshorebill@aol.com, or call/text me at 941-740-2277. Texts and emails usually get a quicker response than calls. The car is located in Port Charlotte...about 90 miles south of Tampa on Florida's Gulf Coast. I am about 10 miles off of I-75, so if you're driving it home or shipping it, it will be quick and painless to get on the road heading home. Thanks for looking, and Happy Bidding !!!
