VIN Number WDB1260371A016304. Would not let me enter it. I guess since I could not select the year from drop down menu. I had this listed before with CAT Convertor missing and exhaust off. It did not meet reserve so I got the exhaust fixed along with getting the STATE INSPECTION done. It has a NEW PA inspection. My county is SMOG TEST exempt, but as I mentioned it has a new CAT, Muffler, and X pipe. So up for bid AGAIN is a 1984 Mercedes Benz 500 SEL. The car was not running when I purchased it. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel Pump relay and car runs GREAT. I was going to make it a daily driver to work ( to keep the miles off my diesel truck, and to save on Fuel cost). I did not own the car long enough to find out every little imperfection it may possess. But here it what I have noticed. Wood trim on dash peeling/ missing in some spots. Dash pad Cracked. Rear drivers side door card was removed at one time, for what reason I do not know. I did find out why the rear drivers side door card was removed. When I had it at the shop the window slipped out of track and fell in door, breaking the glass. Will need rear drivers side rear glass replaced. Also there is a ground in the window circuit (the mechanics said), causing battery drain over long period of time. I am pretty sure that is what caused the window to drop. Trim pieces missing and or broke in that area . 1 Small rust spot I have pictured. Clear coat on paint shows wear. Back glass starting to frost in lower corners. I am sure I am probably forgetting something. I highly suggest viewing the car in person before bidding or buying.. Car seems to run great.. Car Sold AS IS NO WARRANTY. Thanks for looking
