Hopefully this go round a worthy new owner will be found for this super sweet machine. Took it for a ride today and it is great. Wish I didn't have to sell it, but I need the money to pay off debt. So, here we go again... (Oh, and as I've recently moved from the DC area to the Catskills in NY, the bike has been moved to the latter.) If you know about the 2010 Triumph Thunderbird, I don't need to tell you how solid they are. As good a cruiser for the price as you can find, I think. This one is Pacific Blue / Fusion White, which is sweet looking, and has just over 6,000 miles. A 1600 cc, 97.27 ci engine, and 107.7 ft lbs of torque and 6 speed on the box. Unless you want to go back in time, or you ride like a real maniac (more so than me), there's no reason to get the "Big Bore" kit. This thing is a rocket as it is. It’s fuel injected, belt-driven, liquid-cooled, has a 5.8 gallon tank (good for long rides), and double disc brakes in the front and a single disk in the back. It is just a solidly constructed machine that feels that way, and is a super smooth ride from bottom to top speeds. It’s great around town (I've ridden it mostly in and around Washington DC, and love the way it handles at slow speeds and in traffic), but is even better roaring around country roads (drag a peg at sixty no problem) or opened up on highway (virtually no vibration at top speeds). There's no situation where this thing doesn't do what you need it to, and do it well. Unless you're going off pavement. In which case I'm not sure why you've read this far. Mine has a bunch of Triumph custom add-ons (all chrome, and wildly over-priced if you were to buy them now and add them on), including: high flow mufflers, engine dresser bars, rear dresser bars, adjustable highway pegs, master cylinder cover, billet fuel cap, “Thunderbird” clutch cover, belt guard, shifter, and license plate holder. Not on the bike but included with the sale are the quick release full wind screen (still in the box, never used) and mounting kit, the color-coordinated headlight cowl (blue with a white stripe, looks sweet), and all the replaced stock parts (mufflers and covers and such). It’s also fitted with a lead for a battery tender. It has never been dropped and has only a few very minor (put your face up close, minor) blemishes reflecting normal wear, and has been mostly garage kept, except for a brief period where it was under a cover and was meticulously cleaned weekly. All maintenance on schedule and by a certified Triumph dealership. However, you will need to get the 6,000 mile service (which I've considered in the price). All in all, it's a first class cruiser and a solid value for the price. If you're looking for a well-performing, quality machine that looks cool as hell, this is it. Glad to answer any inquiries, just drop me a line. Ride safe (and buy this bike, so I can get out of debt and get a new 7 wt!) thanks, and safe riding
