I picked this truck up from the small town of Abbeville SC this last Christmas from a small garage mechanic that had just bought the truck from original owners son, before I purchased it. I have the title in hand. The dad kept this thing in the garage when not in use and the dash pad proves it. It has 127,xxx original miles on it, with everything still factory minus the rims and tires, which are new. Everything works, all lights and gauges in instrument cluster, factory radio, wipers etc..The interior has been completely redone, new door weather stripping, sill plates, window channel felt, seat cover, carpet etc.... The truck is solid. As you will see in the pics all of the cab corners, rockers, drip rails and bed are all solid as a rock. This truck has been sitting at my house since Christmas where I have completed the work of restoring the inside, my goal was for it to look brand new when you sit inside. I do not and have not driven this truck everyday, I test drove it and since then have cranked it up to move it around in the yard/garage, and so that is the only experience I have with the motor and transmission and I haven't had any issues. Cranks right up, shifts good, stops good and sounds good, it is has dual exhaust with flow masters.I have tried to show all pics of the dings and dents in the truck, the paint looks to be original, minus the passenger side of the bed. The dent in the passenger cab corner was done by the farmer backing into a fence post and they fixed the bed and not the cab corner. The biggest indicator will be the grill, this style was NOT used on 71 or 72. I tried to change the title and every where it is listed as a 71, but it will not let me modify that information, I am guessing because there are bids already on the truck.
