This clean title, single owner, 2009 K1300S has been well maintained and loved by me since I purchased it. I am reluctantly selling it because I want to purchase a touring motorcycle. This bike has been maintained by Morton's BMW and Bob's BMW. My guess is the Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires have about 1/3 of their life left, see pictures. All of the recalls have been done on this bike except the fuel pump inspection. This is a recall and can be done by the buyer free of cost at any BMW dealer. This bike include many upgrades (see below), about $5000 in upgrades!!! One stand out is the Power Commander V with Autotune, $550. When I purchased the bike everything about it was excellent except low RPM throttle response, it just wasn't smooth enough for my liking. All K1300S bikes that I've ridden had this issue, and unless you've tried a K1300S with a Power Commander, you don't know what you're missing. The PCV partial throttle response makes the bike safer and more predictable in low speed turns, and of course at 100% throttle, it has more power. Another stand out feature of this bike is the Wunderlich Ergo High Bar kit. This kit cost $739, plus a $400 installation fee (BMW service isn't cheap). The High Bar Kit allows you to be significantly more comfortable on long rides. I almost bought the Akrapovic exhaust, but I opted for the Remus ($900) because it sounds and looks better in my opinion. The installed HID kit is not a cheapy eBay special. It is a Futurevision Kit that has a nice white color and that enhances night driving immensely.
