This truck was a well maintained, classic driver for the last ten years for me, never a problem. In Hurricane Sandy it was elevated as much as I could, I don't think the water got above the heads; however a little got into the engine, possibly from the oil dip stick - it was drained and oil and filter was changed along with the starter. I was able to get the motor to crank well and pumped the water from the mufflers,but after some trouble and new coil, was not able to get spark and start it. I lost interest and need to unload it. Tires are almost new, trailing arms and bushings recently replace and painted. The motor is a rebuilt 350, about 10 years old. Have a pile of parts and literature included, 2 AM radios, NOS trim, bearings, door gasket, adjustable hitch, bed cover. Rt. side door jamb rotted, hood front edge rotted, center forward wood bed rotted. The water did not go over the top of the seat or to the dash, or into the gas. Note: Upon closer examination, the upper front cab corners, drip molding, and some of the roof edge has rotted through. The right front jamb rot also extends higher than the photo shows.
