Vehicle purchased used in 1999, sold to my father in 2002. Driven in timber collecting wood, not many miles accumulated since engine rebuild in 2000. Dad passed one year ago. Currently have no use, would rather sell than let rot in my garage. We listed last fall, but the buyer was not able to complete the transaction Top end / bottom end of engine rebuilt in 2000. Crank, connecting rods and clutch assembly pulled from '72 2F motor. Cylinders and crank journals / saddles bored, new bearings. New oil pump. CAM / CAM bearings replaced. Valves not replaced, but in good condition. New seals throughout engine. Transmission replaced with rebuilt unit purchased from Spectre Off-Road. New tires around 2002, little use since, good tread. The body is in rough condition behind the driver / passenger doors. Typical rust found on older FJ40's. The lower rear doors need to be replaced. The Frame and drive train are solid, 4WD works. I don't know the actual mileage.
