Vehicle Detail

Beautifully restored 1966 Bonneville 650cc T120R, but according to a professional restorer of these mid 60's British bikes, some parts are missing and it's not completely period correct. I've had one person tell me it's missing a tank rack, and another person tell me it's missing rubber tank pads and some key emblems and decals. Let me make this clear now so I don't keep receiving emails and messages from collectors and professional restorers out there telling me why its not a perfectly restored bike. I make no claim that this is a mint restored to factory condition bike, and I have no interest in restoring it to mint factory condition so a collector out there can purchase a ready to ride original factory bike. This was a project bike purchased by my father before he passed away. He had it restored to beautiful running condition, not mint factory condition. I'd be asking a lot more if it was in perfect factory condition, there is no reserve price and at an opening bid of 7,000.00 I think its a more than fair price for a reliable running original built and sold in 1966 production Triumph. Kicks first time every time and runs perfect. Restoration included complete engine tear down and re-build, new paint, re-chromed several parts, new stator, new tires, new spark plugs, re-done electrical harness. Everything works beautifully on this classic bike. Not original paint, my father had it media blasted and repainted to the blue and white you see here. I inherited this gem from my father and I know someone out there will appreciate it much more than I am able to, I prefer my modern thruxton for riding so this classic is just taking up space in my garage. That being said, I know what it's worth and so should you. NADA guide prices a factory condition restored at close to 20,000$ so I'm asking a more than fair amount for this diamond in the rough. NO RESERVE! This beauty is running strong and requires very little work to make her completely factory period correct. If you have any questions at all about the bike, please feel free to send me a message and I will do my best to answer it or find the answer for you, if all you have is suggestions or corrections about why my bike isn't the perfect bike for you, I politely ask you now to keep them to yourself and bid on a bike more to your liking No warranty expressed or implied, all sales final. It will be your responsibility to pick-up and/or ship the bike. I require a 500$ non-refundable down payment through paypal within 24 hours after auction closes with the remainder of the payment due within 72 hours. I will not entertain offers of payments made to me, this bike is also on consignment sale through Stex motorsports in Spokane, WA. If the price I'm asking is too much for you to pay all at once but you really want the bike, you can go through Stex privately and they offer financing. Lastly, I've had this bike listed here a few times before, and people tried to scam me twice. I can spot fake paypal and fake ebay emails a mile away, until I see the money in my paypal account, we have no deal. Best of luck and happy bidding!
