!976 International Scout Terra in great condition. This Scout Terra is a 2 WD with a 196 4 Cyl motor and a 4 speed transmission. The interior is in excellent condition, seats, dash center and center console are in excellent shape. I have rebuilt the rear axle and replaced all the bears, seals, brakes, brake cables and has a brand new limited slip differential. I changed the gearing to 3:73 gears and added 31" tires which are also in excellent shape. The rear springs have been rebuilt and added heavy duty u-bolts and shekels. The body on the truck is excellent, floors are not rusted, rockers are solid and no rust in the fenders. The only rust the truck has very small amount of surface rust on the right rear vendor wheel. The truck drives very well, travels the highway at 65-70 MPH without issues. Oil pressure is very good and engine temperature runs in normal operating range. I have had the fiberglass roof off the truck during the summer and can say it for sure turns a lot of heads. I added sound proofing to the cab floor and a new vinyl black mat. The steering wheel was also swapped out for a 1980 steering wheel to more sporty look. All of the rubber body mounts have been replaced and has a nice firm feel to the ride. The engine has 97,000 original miles and runs excellent. I drive the Terra is the late spring and summer only and it always has been garaged. The doors close perfectly no sagging and all the glass is in great condition also. The truck will also come with a steel skid plate, rear tow hitch and a spare Rockwell clutch set up. The axle has been torn down to be rebuilt. I have all new bearings,seals, ball joints, brakes, rotors, brake hoses and a good used 3:73 limited slip differential. I also have a 304 engine with 32,000 original miles out of a 1979 Terra. The engine is truly in great condition. I have new gasket sets, new water pump, starter, fuel pump, all new wires, caps, plugs. I have sandblasted the pan, valve covers, air filter, exhaust manifolds, gas lines and air tubes. Painted and look like new. The engine will come on an engine stand and a 2 1/2 ton engine hoist. I forgot I also have brand new aftermarket engine mounts for the engine. The engine ran excellent when I pulled it and the oil pressure was very good. If you are truly serious about this truck I also have an additional Dana 4 speed with a Dana 20 with all the gasket sets to refresh both. They came off a low mileage Scout Terra. I have a transmission cross member that was powder coded black and a new aftermarket transmission mount. I have also come with two spare rally rims that are in great shape. A rust free rear tailgate, front rebuilt springs, new shocks, bushings and heavy duty shakles. I also have NOS duel front exhaust pipes, mufflers and stainless steel clamps. You would need the rear pipes from the muffler back to complete. I also have a complete AC unit with all hoses. I have just about everything you need to convert to 4 wheel drive and add a strong IH engine. I also have a bunch of other parts some new that I forgot to mention.
