1968 Austin Healey Sprite This is a good running and driving car. It was not running when I bought it, but the previous owner was not a car guy, and after it would not start a few years ago, he gave up. I put a battery in it, and serviced the carbs, and it fired up and runs very well. To get it going I replaced the clutch pack and release bearing, along with the master and slave cylinder for the clutch, and the rubber hose. The master cylinder is new as well. The mileage shown is 22,000, so I'm sure it has rolled over. The speedometer cable is broken, so the real miles are unknown. Overall the car is very solid, body and floor pans. There is minor rust around the back of the top boot, and down low on the left door post. The convertible top frame is there but the car will need a new top canvas, which will cost around $249. I have a set of four wire wheels, spinners, and the rear splined axles from a MG Midget, which can go with the car if you would like them. The vehicle is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. I hold a clear Oregon title to the car in my name. I will ship the car as long as you make the arrangements and pay for it.
