Up for bid with NO RESERVE is my friends 1995 Cobra, highest bid at the end of auction takes this DREAM CAR. It was featured in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Feb. 2014. He purchased this car from Frank Shipton about two months ago. He drove it home from Tucson and drove it several times he drove it about 500 miles, he really enjoys this car but has decided to move on. Redsurrection is in search of a new home, this is a professionally built and well documented vehicle. The whole story can be read online. But here is a condensed version Frank Shipton purchased the Cobra with a salvaged theft title and built it from the ground up. The car was built by B&D Racing, painted by Paintin’ Place and the interior was done by Mike Ambrose. Beginning from the bottom up the car front and rear suspension are by Griggs GR-40 with Koni shocks and struts, Wilwood brakes 6 piston front 4 piston rear and custom HRE 19” wheels with Michelin Sport Pilot tires. Interior 4 point roll cage by B & D racing, 4point harness, seats are Recaro trends, Autometer gauges, Cobra FR500 steering wheel, Pioneer DEHP6400 radio with Infinity Kappa speakers. The engine is a 2002 Ford Racing R 302 block with 342 displacement built by B&D Racing standard Bore/ 3400 Stroke with a custom grind top of the line internals, AFR Aluminum heads with 1.6 roller rockers, Vortech T-Trim blower with Holley System Max II upper and Lower intake with 55 lb High Imped. Injectors,Ford Racing 1 5/8” Ceramic coated Headers, custom X pipe, with 2 ½” Cat back with DynoMax mufflers, MSD 6A ignition with blaster Coil. This Cobra was dyno tested at 610 r/w Horsepower; 604lbs r/w Torque. The body sports a 1995 hood and rear wing is from a Saleen 281. The car is painted in Dodge Viper Red by Jason Pecikonis and it grabs a ton of attention. There are many modifications and items that I did not list due to space limitations.
