Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1970 Dodge Charger project car that was RARE factory triple black. Thats right, black paint, black vinyl top, and black interior. Doesn't get much more awesome than that. The car is from GA, and was parked in 1983, why it was parked i don't know. It has been sitting for 30 years and needs restored. It shows 12000 on the odometer(it has 112000). The car still wears it's original paint. It came from the factory with A/C, power brakes, power steering, etc. Nicely optioned cool car! The car does need a lot of work, but the rails are good, so it's a way better start than most. There are spots of rust on the car, the driver's side door and quarter are in well above average shape, the passenger fender is also good with just one small spot. The roof has a couple spots of rust from the vinyl top, but can be repaired and then a new top put on. It will need some floor pan work and trunk floors. The original hood is not good but i have a clean rust free hood ,,,for an extra $250,,,. and there is a spot on each side on the cowl right by the windshield. Rear valance may be saveable, and there is some rust in the taillight panel. The bumper and grill are above average, grill just needs a little work. Body is straight, never been wrecked. AMD makes everything this car needs, and when done it will be a fantastic looking car. I do have an intact fender tag and builtsheet. The car was built October 16, 1969. The 383 engine is numbers matching ,dated 10/16/69. The intake, carb, etc, also come with the car.The interior is mostly complete including great bucket seats that just need covers, a MINT uncracked dash pad, and a good complete instrument cluster. The back bumper and a few other parts are inside the car, and inside the trunk. This car is 95% complete. You will not find a better project car for the money. Only 436 70 charger 500's were built in black(thats less than 2%). I am listing this car NO RESERVE so bid to win! I reserve the right to end this auction early......I have a clean title in my name...the car also has brand new Magnum 500 wheels and tiers. The best way to contact me is by sell 206-972-9946
