I bought this car a couple years ago and never had any problems. A couple months ago there was a noise coming from the engine bay that I thought was just a fan pulley going bad. Turns out it was the timing belt that needed replaced. Long story short the timing belt broke. I recently pulled the heads off and found 8 bent exhaust valves and 2 bent intake valves (pistons look fine). It will cost around $200-$400 for parts. The car is worth $3500 running. I'm going to cut my losses and part ways with this one. I have a baby boy on the way and would rather use the money to build a go kart.180k. The body is solid.
