I bought this little truck with the intent of making a rat rod pu ,But after getting it up and running I realized its way to nice to take apart and ruin its originality , .The story behind this truck is that it was a municipal truck in Knoble Arkansas .It was city parts runner and the stated miles are said to be original but im not sure ,,It runs great which is why I have a hard time believing it has 108000 miles ,along with the original seat and showing no signs of wear on pedals ,.The story goes that after retiring truck in 1970 that it set around til one of the city employees bought it to use as a fishing vehicle . took it home and started to work on it and that's where it set until , I bought it . I have wired it up to run but original wiring is a mess and every wire ive tried to fix all the plastic insulation just seems to crack when touched . If I were going to keep it ide put a new fuse box and 12 cicuit wiring harness in truck, they are cheap and a whole lot easier than trying to repair old harness . it has brakes that need bled , im putting a new clutch slave cylinder on for clutch it works but loses pressure overnight . .The body on this truck is in incredible cond for a almost 50 year old truck has only two rust spots thru on floors one on each side due to rubber floor mat , the only rust on outside is one quarter size spot on front of passengers rear fender . overall this would be an easy restoration project on a low production pickup.As always if you have any questions please give me a call my name is rich my no is 314 704 4210On May-15-14 at 06:00:44 PDT, seller added the following information: im sorry it come to my attention that truck is a 64 not a 65 sorry about the mix up my fault
